How is it different from the main game?

The rules are exactly the same: a reference on the left, a silhouette to resize, then Lock In. The difference is the stuff you're sizing. Instead of real-world objects you get characters and props from games, films and TV. On the day we played, round one used a bat from Minecraft (Bedrock Edition) as the reference, and we had to set the height of the Ghostface mask from Scream.

Tips for Pop Culture rounds

Characters are sized the way they appear in their own world. A Minecraft mob is as big as it is in the game, not as big as a toy of it. If you know the character's height, use it. If you don't, think about who stands next to them in the film or game, and size from there. Watch the label. Some rounds ask for height, some for length.

Who owns the characters?

Magnitudle says it isn't linked to any of the companies behind these characters. The names are only there so you know what you're looking at. Every character and brand belongs to its owner.
